This music is in the Classical North Indian music systems Raag set to the powerfull meditative sytem of words called “Shabd”. Shabd and Raag combined together give us a powerful system of notes, scales and words that give the listener an expanded experience of self. In this or, the masterful use of sound and rhythm combined with the words of “Shadbd” give the listener the impact of the song as a meditation or prayer.
With the hot tabla of master, Deep Singh and the elegant flute of Steve Gorn, we adorned these shabds (Sikh mantras) into a powerful meditative experience. Each track addresses a need to be handled. Overcoming addictions, raising self steem, fulfillment.
